9/10- Due Today: Geo Pie
- Share & Discuss for full understanding of using the 5 themes.
Objective: To use technology to enhance learning about today's events as well as historical events. Create engaging questions regarding current issues.

9/12- Culturegrams Use culture grams to create tables and charts. Find comparable country information. Design questions and find interesting facts to share with the class.

Objective: To utilize tools introduced in the first week of Global Studies to research and discuss our first two regions, Maghreb and the Middle East 9/16

Week 7-Africa, The Sub Saharan10/14- Review news articles from Africa. Pick out at least three words you cannot define. As a class we will put them on the board. As a class we will define and put in notes. Work with the person next to you. Find at least 5 articles and briefly write down what is happening in five different countries in Africa.

As a group you will record the following: 1. Facts given by Charles Robertson. (minimum 10) 2. What are at least 3 ideas you agree with? 3. What are at least 3 questions you have? Objective: To make a prediction of Africa's future. Will they be the next "big boom" in the economic world?

The challenge is for your team to make the best comparison poster of the early civilizations we have studied so far. Below they are listed with the page numbers for your reference. The focus is bigger than the topic of early civ. it will be on teamwork, collaboration, creativity, and perseverance. Your team will have 40 minutes to complete this task! Objective: To hone teamwork skills and procedure/process while applying required information.
